摘要: It has been argued that the energy content in time varying spacetimes can be obtained by using approximate Lie symmetries of geodesics equations spacetime. When applied to cylindrical gravitational waves, it gives a self-damping waves. According this proposal waves go zero asymptotically as radial distance two-thirds power. If true, would mean estimates for sensitivity detectors various sources have revised
