摘要: Introduction. This study explores blind users' unique help-seeking situations in interacting with digital libraries. In particular, were investigated at both the physical and cognitive levels. Method. Fifteen participants performed three search tasks, including known-item search, specific information exploratory using selected library. Pre-questionnaire, preand post-interviews, transaction logs think-aloud protocols used to collect data. Analysis. Open coding analysis was identify Results. The identified seventeen that users encountered while libraries, nine level eight level. To be more specific, categorised into 1) difficulty accessing information, 2) identifying current status path, 3) evaluating efficiently. Cognitive classified confusion about multiple programs structures, understanding or library features, 4) avoidance of formats approaches. Conclusion. reveal a gap between design practices special needs users. Practical implications for help features blind-friendly libraries are suggested based on findings.
