摘要: Abstract : The recent advent of miniature single gimbal control moment gyroscopes has spawned interest in variable speed versions for combined energy storage and attitude systems on small satellites. Although much been studied the theory behind such a system, little done In optimally sizing these actuators satellite applications. Therefore this paper investigates fundamental design concepts, optimal sizing, mission benefits actuators. Given set agility requirements, an optimal, nonlinear programming method is applied to problem.
