摘要: In recent years, elucidation of novel bioactive substances from different marine organisms is gaining importance rapidly not only the research and publications but also controlled clinical studies natural product-derived substances. They offer important leads for development antiviral drugs against viral infections caused by human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). Regarding this issue, numerous anti-HIV-1 therapeutic agents resources have been reported their potential medicine/medical application as functional ingredients in anti-HIV therapy. detail, macroalgae attracted much attention a reliable source compounds. Up to date, several types compounds such tannins, polysaccharides, lectins, derivatives isolated, identified, possess significant activity.
