摘要: Abstract Ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy, inverse and two-photon spectroscopy are techniques commonly used to examine the electronic structure of surfaces interfaces. We have all three study self-assembled monolayers 4,4′-bis(phenylethynyl)benzenethiol on gold, a system often studied for potential application in molecular junctions. compare results these measurements discuss them relation calculations. The result is better understanding valence this system, spectroscopic methods involved, previous measurements.
