摘要: The catalytic dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene to produce styrene is an important industrial process because it used in the manufacture resins, synthetic rubber and plastics. most catalysts for this are iron oxides containing potassium chromium oxides. These show high activity selectivity but deactivate with time on-stream units, mainly due loss potassium. On other hand, storage exhausted materials causes environmental damage toxicity compounds. In order find non-toxic potassium-free catalysts, effect aluminum salt precursor on properties was investigated work. showed specific area, were resistant reduction potassium-free; these features can prevent their deactivation. Also, they higher than hematite no harmful environment. acts both as textural structural promoter.
