摘要: This paper presents a new vibration control method for long-span bridges using complex damper system. The system has simple mechanical configuration with oil and elastoplastic dampers, which are velocity displacement dependent in absorbing energy, so as to produce various damping forces against the external according its parameter setting. dissipates energy relatively frequent small amplitudes small-to-moderate earthquakes, whereas works rare large amplitude vibrations such strong seismic events. In order obtain optimal performance of damper, preference-based optimization technique is applied. A numerical model established system, response characteristics effectiveness proposed presented through simulations. Numerical results show that can significantly improve bridge structures combined mechanism much more effective than single conventional passive
