Geology, potential of Pande gas field, Mozambique Basin

摘要: Pande gas field is extensive, measuring 20 km by 25 km, and an undeveloped, high calorific, dry accumulation. Gulf Oil discovered in 1961 with the 1 well, which was drilled to 3,587 m deepest on structure. 5 North between 1961--66 explore productive structures of Lower Grudja formation. In October 1965 a blowout occurred at 4 well during preparation for formation pressure test. The lasted 459 days until directional relief pande 4D, drilled. During 1989--90 six exploration wells were field. A 725 line 30 fold seismic survey conducted area 1990 1993. June 1994, Norwegian Petroleum Directorate fulfilled independent assessment reserves.
