Quasinormal modes of Schwarzschild anti-de Sitter black holes: Electromagnetic and gravitational perturbations

摘要: We study the quasinormal modes (QNM) of electromagnetic and gravitational perturbations a Schwarzschild black hole in an asymptotically anti\char21{}de Sitter (AdS) spacetime. Some do not oscillate; they only decay, since have pure imaginary frequencies. The show peculiar features: odd even no longer same characteristic There is special mode for whose behavior differs completely from usual one scalar AdS spacetime, but has similar to flat spacetime: part frequency goes as ${1/r}_{+},$ where ${r}_{+}$ horizon radius. also investigate small black-hole limit showing that ${r}_{+}^{2}.$ These results are important AdS/CFT conjecture since, according it, QNM's describe approach equilibrium conformal field theory.
