摘要: Abstract There are many studies showing that the performance results for engines operating with biofuels acceptable, although very few long-term analysis of wear and maintenance problems shown. Three mono-cylinder compression ignition were tested approximately 1000 h each, pure diesel oil (D100), soy methyl ester (SME100) castor (CME100). The lubricating didn’t reveal any excessive amount metals compared to engine diesel. Viscosity decreased soon values below minimum recommended due dilution esters, especially SME100. injection system showed opening pressures, hydraulic flux corrosion levels acceptable. SME piston a small crack. A higher carbon deposits gum formation was found over biofuel pistons, indicating poor combustion. Piston ring seating gap inside specification. Cylinder liners presented no damage on running surface. valves abrasive adhesive wear, contact fatigue SME100 marks at valve CME100, considered acceptable after test. obtained show use esters fuels these regarding problems.
