Carbon paste electrode modified by cobalt ions dispersed into poly (N-methylaniline) preparing in the presence of SDS: application in electrocatalytic oxidation of hydrogen peroxide

摘要: Conducting and stable poly (N-methylaniline) film was prepared by using the repeated potential cycling technique in aqueous solution containing N-methylaniline, sulfuric acid, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) at surface of carbon paste electrode (CPE). The transition metal ions Co(ІІ) were incorporated to polymer immersion modified 0.1 M cobalt chloride for 10 min. electrochemical characterization this exhibits redox behavior Co(ІІ)→Co(ІІІ) formation insoluble oxide/hydroxide species on CPE surface. showed well-defined couples alkaline solution. excellent electrocatalytic activity oxidation hydrogen peroxide. response toward H2O2 examined cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse square wave chronoamperometry. This has many advantages such as simple preparation procedure, good reproducibility, high catalytic peroxide oxidation. Such characteristics explored specific determination cosmetics product sample, giving results agreement with those obtained standard method.
