Latest Results on Dilepton Production in 200 GeV a Ion-Ion Collisions

摘要: I present the latest results on dimuon production in intermediate mass region, as measured by NA38 and HELIOS-3 collaborations ion-ion collisions at CERN SPS. For p-A interactions, signal spectra are well reproduced a superposition of known sources (Drell-Yan process, open charm resonances). S-induced reactions, both experiments observe an increase yield, compared to one expected from linear extrapolation data.
