摘要: Abstract White-emitting luminescent γ-Al 2 O 3 :C have been synthesized by the precursor method using basic aluminum formate Al(OH)(HCOO) as a precursor. The synthesis of was implemented according to original technique based on interaction Al(NO ) ·9H and formic acid in aqueous medium during heating. X-ray powder diffraction study showed that crystallizes monoclinic symmetry with space group C unit cell parameters  = 8.8629(2) A, b  = 9.9890(2) c  = 10.2413(1) β  = 106.223(1)°, V  = 870.58(3) A. It established products thermolysis helium atmosphere at 600–1100 °C exhibit white luminescence, whose intensity lowers when annealing temperature grows concentration carbon decreases. electronic band structure energy preference different positions lattice ideal be occupied impurity atoms were calculated first-principles method. calculations luminescence is due presence interstitial sites spinel structure.
