Latency analysis of TCP on an ATM network

摘要: In this paper we characterize the latency of BSD 4.4 alpha implementation TCP on an ATM network. Latency reduction is a difficult task, and careful analysis first step towards reduction. We investigate impact both network controller protocol latency. find that low has significant overall TCP. also some widely discussed improvements to TCP, such as header prediction combination checksum calculation with data copying.
