摘要: ABSTRACT Evidence for the role of juvenile hormone in determination apterous parthenogenetic aphids is reviewed. Corpus allatum activity, assessed by volume or nuclear size, greater adult producing young, and larval which are developing as apterae. On basis these relationships, a consistent hypothesis control production apterae can be proposed. However, experiments with analogues have given equivocal negative results remains unconfirmed. Some difficulties involved experimental work this kind indicated.
