摘要: Calpains are calcium-activated proteinases which have been implicated in tissue differentiation and degeneration. The aims of the present study were: (1) to determine relationship between postnatal age calpain activity rat retina; (2) test if was aberrant RCS retina at different ages. Calpain measured by a standard vitro assay fractions retinas rats, ranging 2 42 days. Most retinal cytosolic fraction. Specific declined with age. In Long Evans rat, it 8-fold higher on day than 42. Comparison rats their congenic controls showed that lower neonatal rats. 46% 22% 3. It is concluded during development retina, marked changes occurred activity....
