摘要: Abstract In a series of 58 pregnant mothers, an attempt was made to make stethograms and reproducible disc recordings the fetal heart. 52 cases effort successful in 6, unsuccessful. The age fetuses whose heart sounds were recorded varied from five one-half months time delivery. not ticklack type 49 cases, diastole being greater duration than systole. length ventricular systole ranged 0.16 0.23 second diastolic phase 0.17 0.53 second, there no constant change ratio between these periods at various rates. rates 92 163, and, since all except one with congenital lesion, healthy child born, it seems rate changes this range are little diagnostic significance. first sound is seldom accented one, true only 8 cases. intensity about equal 16 28 second. reported recording murmur thought be described medical literature. Congenital lesions may diagnosed before birth. A portable mechanism for reproducing as well making them audible directly patient will value (1) clinically, (2) research, (3) teaching, (4) increasing knowledge changes, normal or pathologic, rhythm during
