摘要: In this chapter the assessment of quality life in deaf people with a >Cochlear Implant (CI) is discussed. First background on topic elaborated introduction. main text, history cochlear implantation and system implant are depicted shortly some indications to given. The actual part which CI patients discussed, can be divided several parts. At outset, overall particular population mentioned together results. Afterwards, diverse disease specific instruments for field mentioned. Hereby we discuss instrument itself, statistics, results conclude why (or not to) use population. that pointed out are: Assessment Mainstream Performance (AMP), Glasgow (Children’s) Benefit Inventory (G-C-BI), Nijmegen Cochlear Questionnaire (NCIQ), Parental Perspectives (PP) Screening Instrument For Targeting Educational Risk (SIFTER). Finally, widely used generic recipients most important medical outcome study Short Form 36 (SF36), Health Utility Index mark 3 (HUI3) Pediatrics Quality Life (PedsQL). Recommendations given end.
