摘要: SummaryTo evaluate the role of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) in plateletapoptosis paediatric immune thrombocytopenia, we investigated theplatelets 20 patients with acute thrombocytopenia(ITP), before and after IVIg treatment. Healthy children platelet countsin normal range thrombocytopenia due tochemotherapy were enrolled as controls. All ITP presented withplatelet counts · 10 9 /l all patients. ITPpatients had significantly increased proportions platelets activatedcaspase-3, -8 -9, PS exposure, decreased DWm, anddemonstrated microparticle formation. Except for thesemarkers apoptosis reduced by Platelets childrenwith chemotherapy also demonstrated increasedmicroparticle formation but no activation caspases 3,8 or exposure. In conclusion, ITP, enhancedplatelet is seen at diagnosis that normalizes treatment. Keywords: childhood IVIg, apoptosis, caspase-3, phosphatidyl-serine exposure
