摘要: Recent physical-based theory of soil erosion by water provides a theoretical expression for the upper limit sediment concentration produced rainfall and overland flow driven processes. This thus capacity to indicate whether or not additional processes such as rapid mass movement, have occurred in any measured event. T h e paper outlines simplified form which is applicable when data on total loss runoff rate per unit area from plots are measured. applied 31 sets field measurements 12 m long bare up 7 0 % slope Philippines. For this set movement was indicated be relatively minor contributor even these steep slopes. The methodology reach conclusions general its application.
