摘要: Estimation of runoff volume and sediment load is the main problem that affects performance dams due to reduction in storage capacity their reservoirs effect on dam efficiency operation schedule. The simulation models can be considered for this purpose if continuous field measurements are not available. Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) Erosion Prediction Project (WEPP) were applied estimate annual Duhok Dam Reservoir north Duhok/Iraq period 1988-2011. estimated varied from 2.3 34.7 MCM period. Those values affected by rainfall depth, intensity coefficient. resultant coefficient studied area ranged 0.05 0.35 (average was 0.18) causing an average about 14 MCM. results routing indicated yields 50 1400 t/km2/year depending sub basin properties. whole watershed 120 × 103 ton. total arrived 1988-2011 2.9 106 indicate both gave reasonable comparison with measured values. Based statistical criteria, close gather.
