摘要: An Arabidopsis cDNA encoding putative phospholipid hydroperoxide glutathione peroxidase (PHGPX) was cloned and sequenced. The comprised 803 bp included an open reading frame which encodes a polypeptide of 169 amino acid residues. deduced sequence showed about 80 50% homology with plant PHGPXs mammalian PHGPXs, respectively. Southern blot analysis suggested that PHGPX gene single-copy gene. expression profile the in under NaCl Al/Fe treatments, generate oxidative stress, analyzed. Northern revealed mRNA levels were increased 3 4.5 times after exposure to Al/Fe, These results suggest is induced by stress Arabidopsis.
