摘要: This study deals with the analysis of integument red palm weevil Rhynchophorus ferrugineus both sexes using GC–MS technique. The results revealed many promising compounds. These include aspidofractinine-3-methanol (kopsinyl alcohol) which was found in acetone extract sternum females, and 3-buten-2-ol (32-B) extracts tergum males. compound aggregation pheromone secreted by Additionally, compounds methoxy groups were found. may be responsible for insects’ resistance. study, through separation identification these compounds, aims to open a new possibility their future medical therapeutic usage.
