Infrared and Raman investigation of vitreous antimony trioxide

摘要: The vibrational spectrum of vitreous Sb2O3 has been recorded, using the techniques i.r. and Raman spectroscopy. A general valence force field calculation was performed with assumption that basic structural unit phase is O2SbOSbO2. observed calculated spectra are in good agreement, suggesting glass structure similar to well-known two-dimensional layered form As2O3.
