摘要: Abstract Chloride binding is an important factor for chloride transport in cementitious materials. The ions from the pore solution or environment may affect stability of bound chlorides. In this study, equilibrium method was used to investigate chlorides well hydrated cement paste (HCP) with different concentrations sodium sulfate (Na2SO4) and magnesium (MgSO4) attack under three conditions (including: I. HCP intermixed submerged solution; II. soaked combined chloride-sulfate III: exposed solution, followed by solution). Experimental techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD) thermogravimetric (TG) were identify phase assemblage before after attack. results show that presence decreases amount chlorides, which mainly caused decomposition Friedel’s salt. Besides, influence MgSO4 on depends concentration solution. As a result “blocking effect” brucite, sample 1% presented higher capacity than Na2SO4 However, extensive brucite gypsum formed increase This leads formation microcracks paste, provides additional routes ingress ions.
