摘要: Eriobotrya is a genus of at least 22 species and 10 varieties or forma evergreen fruit trees in the family Rosaceae (Lin, 2007). native to east southeast Asia, which only loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) cultivated for its valuable fruit. The hypothesized center origin diversity are located medium lower Daduhe River slope Gongga Mountain Southwestern China (Qiu Zhang, 1996). Loquat was domesticated 2000 years ago has been widely fresh processed fruit, as well medicinal effect introduced into Japan, France, England, United States various Mediterranean countries between 12th 19th century. Today mainly distributed latitudes 20 35° north south from equator, but it can be up latitude 45° under marine climates (Lin et al., 1999). There more than 30 producing world production Europe, Africa, Australia, America. In addition utilization flower superior honey source mostly blooms fall early winter. white aromatic thus appreciate ornamental tree well.
