Attitudes toward Suicide: Italian and United States Physicians

摘要: The Suicide Opinion Questionnaire was administered to 100 Italian and United States physicians, comparable in age, gender, medical field. Significant differences were obtained on seven of the eight SOQ scales, with physicians showing greater agreement mental illness, right die, religion, impulsivity, normality, aggression, moral evil scales. Gender both samples, males scoring higher. These results are discussed terms cultural differences, especially role Catholicism.
