摘要: Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have been used for various biomedical applications. Importantly, manganese ferrite-based useful magnetic resonance imaging characteristics and potential hyperthermia treatment, but their effects in the cardiovascular system are poorly reported. Thus, objectives of this study were to determine three different types nanoparticles: citrate-coated (CiMNPs); tripolyphosphate-coated (PhMNPs); bare (BaMNPs). The samples characterized by vibrating sample magnetometer, X-ray diffraction, dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy. direct MNPs on cardiac contractility evaluated isolated perfused rat hearts. CiMNPs, not PhMNPs BaMNPs, induced a transient decrease left ventricular end-systolic pressure. an increase end-diastolic pressure, which resulted end developed Indeed, BaMNPs also caused maximal rate pressure rise (+dP/dt) decline (−dP/dt). studied perfusion or slight vasorelaxant effect aortic rings.
