摘要: Objective To determine the prevalence of eating disorders (EDs) in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and effects EDs on health-related quality life. Design Cross-sectional study. Setting University practice. Patient(s) Women PCOS (Rotterdam criteria; n=148) controls seen for routine gynecologic care (n = 106) from 2015 to 2016. Intervention(s) Eating Disorder Examination-Questionnaire (EDE-Q), Night Questionnaire (NEQ), Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale, Health-Related Quality Life (PCOSQ). Main Outcome Measure(s) EDE-Q NEQ scores, bulimia nervosa (BN), binge disorder (BED), night (NES). Result(s) were at an increased risk overall abnormal scores compared (12.16% vs. 2.83%; odds ratio [OR], 4.75; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.36, 16.58). Clinically significant elevated noted shape weight concern. In unadjusted analysis, body mass index (OR, 1.06; CI, 1.01, 1.11), depression score 5.43; 1.85, 15.88), anxiety 6.60; 2.45, 17.76) associated global score. multivariable model, was (adjusted OR, 4.67; 1.16, 18.80). Elevated inversely correlated PCOSQ (r −0.57). The BN 6.1%, BED 17.6%, NES 12.9% PCOS, no differences controls. Conclusion(s) especially those concurrent symptoms but independent obesity, have a significantly scores. Our findings suggest need screening ED this population.
