摘要: Most of the chapters this Symposium have dealt with terrestrial ecosystems. However, a limnologist studying lake ecosystem has substantial advantage over most his terrestrially oriented colleagues: he knows boundary system. Of course situation is somewhat complicated by in- and outflows, so that not even lakes can be regarded as absolutely closed systems. problem halved for limnologists saline lakes, sait no outflow.
