摘要: Background The purpose of this study was to determine the influence therapeutic alliance on efficacy pharmacotherapy for depression. Method sample consisted 31 depressed outpatients treated with antidepressants. measured by patient and therapist versions California Pharmacotherapy Alliance Scale. Treatment outcome Hamilton Rating Scale Depression Beck Inventory, Symptom, Sign, Side-Effect Checklist also completed. Results measures accounted between 21% 56% variance in three measures. By averaging across measures, perceptions predicted 41% improvement depressive symptoms, where 25%. Scores both were lower than those reported studies psychotherapy. Patient attitude toward medication correlated somatic complaints, but not depression scores.
