OPTICAL QUASI-SOLITON SOLUTIONS FOR THE CUBIC-QUINTIC NONLINEAR SCHRÖDINGER EQUATION WITH VARIABLE COEFFICIENTS

摘要: Optical quasi-soliton solutions for the cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrodinger equation (CQNLSE) with variable coefficients are considered. Based on extended tanh-function method, we not only successfully obtained bright and dark solutions, but also kink under certain parametric conditions. We conclude that quasi-solitons induced by combined effects of group velocity dispersion (GVD) distribution, nonlinearity higher-order amplification or absorption coefficient quite different from those solitons GVD, without considering distribution (i.e. α(z)=0). Furthermore, choose appropriate optical fiber parameters D(z) R(z) to control time shift, discuss evolution behavior special quasi-soliton.
