摘要: Abstract The effect of acetone on the C-D bands CDCl3, CDCl2Br and CDBr3 has been studied in mixed solutions n-hexane acetone. use an inert solvent is necessary order to reduce effects self-association higher-order complexes. changes absorptivity have interpreted terms 1:1 acetone-haloform Equilibrium formation constants 0.90 ± 0.05, 0.80 0.05 0.45 1. mole−1 determined for CDCl3−, CDCl2Br− CDBr3−acetone complexes, respectively. By studying band intensities as a function temperature it possible calculate heats which values −3.5 0.2, −3.3 0.2 −2.7 kcal mole , Finally, observed intensity differences free haloform-d complex discussed charge-transfer model.
