摘要: Abstract The use of high dosages polysaccharide depressants in order to depress the undesired naturally floatable gangue (NFG) present ores beneficiated from Bushveld Complex, South Africa, results a significant decrease stability flotation froths. These unstable froths can result restricted mass pull and decreased valuable mineral recovery. Previous work using single polyglycol ether type frother, DOW 200, has shown that an increase frother dosage could be used overcome destabilisation froth certain extent improve This resulted water recovery dilution concentrate by entrained material. extends this study examine effect stronger 250, on sulphide minerals Merensky ore at different guar gum CMC, which are typically as processing ore. Results indicate strength more robust froth. Depressant also had influence obtained.
