摘要: Abstract. Estimates of the rate production excited oxygen atoms due to photolysis ozone (J(O1D)) have been derived from radiation measurements carried out at Cape Grim, Tasmania (40.6° S, 144.7° E). The individual a total uncertainty 16 % (1σ). These estimates agree well with model clear-sky rates. Observations spanning 2000–2005 used quantify impact season, clouds and column amount. annual cycle J(O1D) has investigated via monthly means. means show an interannual variation (monthly standard deviation) 9 %, but in midsummer midwinter this reduces 3–5 %. Variations solar zenith angle explain 86 observed variability measured ozone, expressed as amplification factor (RAF), is found be ~ 1.53, agreement estimates. This dependence explains 20 medium angles (30–50°). results median reduction 30 for same range. Including cloudiness long-wave resulted statistically significant fit observations, quality did not increase significantly by adjusted R2.
