摘要: Aims:  To isolate and characterize lytic-bacteriophages specific to Microlunatus phosphovorus, prepare fluorescently labelled phages (FLPs) for the rapid detection of host bacterium in activated sludge. Methods Results:  Isolation bacteriophages lytic M. phosphovorus was attempted by applying supernatants sludge processes on lawn JCM9379 plaque formation. Thirteen bacteriophage isolates were obtained. The restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis distinguished them into two different designated as φMP1 φMP2. They found possess double-stranded DNA specificity. Morphological observations done electron microscopy. particles stained SYBR Green I shown be applicable detect their bacterial cells mixed with sludge. Conclusions:  Two phosphovorus-specific isolated classified Siphoviridae. FLPs prepared, successfully applied added sludge. Significance Impact Study:  At least some bacteria are susceptible related bacteriophages. Bacteriophages could affecting population sludge. used easy-rapid
