摘要: We present and evaluate an implementation of a prototype scalable web server consisting load-balanced cluster hosts that collectively accept service TCP connections. The host IP addresses are advertised using round robin DNS (RR-DNS) technique, allowing any to receive requests from client. Once client attempts establish connection with one the hosts, decision is made as whether or not should be redirected different host-namely, lowest number established use low-overhead Distributed Packet Rewriting (DPR) technique redirect In our prototype, each keeps information about remaining in system.
