摘要: Interchain interaction, i.e., π−π stacking, can benefit the carrier transport in conjugated regio-regular poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) thin films. However, existence of insulating side hexyl chains surface region may be detrimental to charge transfer between polymer backbone and overlayer molecules. The control molecular orientation is expected alter distribution π electron density at solve such problems, which achieved by controlling solvent removal rate during solidification. evidence that π-electron outermost controlled demonstrated investigation using powerful combination near edge X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy, ultraviolet photoelectron most surface-sensitive technique:  Penning ionization spectroscopy.
