摘要: Abstract The properties and behavior of a W/O/W multiple emulsion formulation were analyzed during swelling–breakdown process. Various experimental analyses, such as granulometry, rheology conductimetry performed, well micropipette aspiration method. predominant role the lipophilic surfactant swelling phase was confirmed. Two different mechanisms can be proposed. Both imply migration from one interface to another probably take place successively. could diffuse first second interface, thus rigidifying membrane, or oily resulting in delayed coalescence aqueous droplets swelling.
