摘要: Neural crest cells are derived from a population of multipotent stem within the neural tube. They emerge shortly after tube closure, migrate extensively in embryo and localize numerous sites, where they differentiate into neurons glia peripheral nervous system, cartilage bone face, melanocytes various other cell types. This review summarizes recent experiments our laboratory delineating origin lineage avian cells. arise ectoderm, which also gives rise to presumptive epidermal, placodal Fate mapping have demonstrated that arises at juncture between epidermis plate. Inductive interactions these two early tissues can generate cells, suggesting signals travel through prior closure. Injection tracer individual reveals single fold form all ectodermal derivatives (i.e., epidermis, tube, crest). Even neuroepithelial capacity multiple derivatives, including both dorsal ventral phenotypes, share common precursor. Further evidence intimately related comes cranial folds ablated. The remaining regulate, least for limited time, compensate missing These suggest neuroepithelium has no clear segregation with respect or crest. With dorsalizing ventralizing may cause acquire specific fates.
