摘要: Purpose: To assess sociodemographic, clinical, awareness, and attitudinal factors associated with acceptance of preimplantation genetic diagnosis among women concerned about hereditary breast ovarian cancer. Methods: Participants (n = 962) were members a national advocacy organization dedicated to empowering at high risk for developing or completed web-based survey assessing acceptance. Factors significantly in the bivariate analyses used build logistic regression model. Results: Among 962 respondents, 318 (33.1%) selected option that they would consider diagnosis, 367 (38.2%) not 277 (28.8%) “don't know.” Significant predictors desire have more children, having had prenatal test, belief is acceptable individuals cancer, information should be given concerns perceived benefits how considered. Conclusion: Women increased cancer may as part their reproductive decision making. Therefore, it important understand existing levels awareness attitudes toward this technology provide optimal counseling support.
