摘要: The influence of lack oxygen and metabolic inhibitors on the integrity cerebral microvascular endothelium is undefined due to conflicting experimental evidence. A newly developed technique for continuous measurement electrical resistance was applied pial venules frog subjected severe hypoxia inhibition endothelial ATP-production by means cyanide (1 mM) iodo-acetate periods 15 min. Severe as well application decreased within 2–5 effect glycolysis-blocking agent, iodo-acetate, particularly powerful. maximal response, obtained in a min period exposure, 30–50% decrease, corresponding 50–100% increase permeability small ions. rapid rise demonstrates that cells depend critically uninterrupted energy conversion maintain barrier function.
