摘要: A process for the removal of oxidizable sulfur compounds from a waste gas which comprises: (a) mixing containing to oxides with molecular oxygen and oxidizing said oxides; (b) contacting oxidized metal oxide absorbent capable absorbing at temperature between about 100° C. 800° C., absorbent; (c) simultaneously, in presence hydrocarbon cracking catalyst 375° 1,200° hydrocarbon, regenerating spent steam form hydrogen sulfide can be separated cracked recovered as elemental sulfur.
