Magnetic Co–Fe bimetallic nanoparticle containing modifiable microgels for the removal of heavy metal ions, organic dyes and herbicides from aqueous media

摘要: Poly(methacrylic-co-acrylonitrile) (p(MAc-co-AN)) microgels were prepared and nitrile groups converted to amidoxime by chemical modification. Amidoximated microgels, amid-p(MAc-co-AN) used for in situ synthesis of cobalt–iron (Co–Fe) bimetallic magnetic nanoparticles simultaneous reduction Co(II) Fe(II) ions within microgel. The as amid-mag-p(MAc-co-AN) microgel found be very effective adsorbents the removal metal ion such Cd(II), Cr(III), organic dyes e.g., methylene blue (MB), rhodamine 6G (R6G) a herbicide, paraquat (PQ). A tremendous increase adsorption capacities was 88.1, 89.9, 190.0, 334.5 166.5 mg g−1 from 40.2, 37.4, 75.3, 57.4, 56.3 MB, R6G, PQ, respectively. Moreover, further capacity composites also accomplished with existence particles. Adsorption these contaminants tap, river seawater studied. effects different parameters i.e., pH, concentration adsorbent solution amount adsorbate Langmuir, Freundlich Temkin models applied, Cd(II) Cr(III) obey Langmuir isotherm better.
