LAND DOCUMENTS, TENURE SECURITY AND LAND RENTAL MARKET IN CHINA

摘要: We used household and farm-plot level data from a two period panel survey 6 provinces in China to explore how tenure security, especially issuance of land documents, would affect people’s behavior China’s rural rental market. The econometric analysis shows that possession documents fewer major reallocations encourage households engage non-kin renting, the effect right is stronger 2008 than 2000.
