摘要: Lactation is a distinct and measurable biological process that occurs in all mammalian mothers. However, with regard to humans, the decision allow this continue dictated by specific societal mandates. For vast majority of human existence, breastfeeding children was perceived as fundamental component maternal experience conception, pregnancy, birth lactation were universally defined intrinsically intertwined (Dettwyler, 1995). Yet, during last 100 years, rates have decreased dramatically across industrialized world. Using Urie Bronfenbrenner's bioecological model theoretical foundation, paper will attempt address complex circuitous variable can be seminally linked proposed corollaries.
