ELECTROACUPUNCTURE IN THE TREATMENT OF POST-TRAUMATIC SYMPATHETIC DYSTROPHY (SUDECK'S ATROPHY)

摘要: Twenty patients with established post-traumatic sympathetic dystrophy were treated elcctro acupuncture after physical therapy or without oral medication had failed to produce satisfactory relief of symptoms. Of these 14(70%) experienced marked and permanent improvement. No complications encountered. The possible mechanisms involved arc discussed.
