摘要: In a coal gasification operation or similar conversion process carried out in the presence of an alkali metal-containing catalyst wherein solid particles containing metal residues are produced, constituents recovered from primarily form water-soluble sulphites and bisulphites by treating with solution sulfurous acid. During water-insoluble compounds converted into bisulphites, which have been found to be catalytically active. The aqueous is then separated treated any insoluble material formed during treatment process, remove soluble aluminum recycled where serve as at least portion comprise catalyst.
