摘要: This paper presents a multiobjective genetic algorithm approach to the design of water distribution network. The objectives considered are minimization network cost and maximization reliability measure. In this study, new measure, called resilience, is introduced. measure mimics designer's desire providing excess head above minimum allowable at nodes designing reliable loops with practicable pipe diameters. proposed method produces set Pareto-optimal solutions in search space resilience. Genetic algorithms observed be poor handling constraints. To handle constraints better way, constraint technique that does not require penalty coefficient applicable systems presented. present model applied two example problems, which widely reported. Comparison other methods revealed resilience based gave results.
