Enhanced production of glucose oxidase from UV- mutant of Aspergillus niger

摘要: UV rays were used as mutagen in wild type strain of Aspergillus niger for enhanced production glucose oxidase. After mutangenization and selection, mutant A. strains, resistant to 2-deoxy-Dglucose obtained. The mutants showed 1.57 1.98 fold increase activities extra intra cellular oxidase respectively comparison with the parental strain. Out 6 mutants, U-6 was selected best producer after 36 h fermentation using black strap molasses substrate.
